The Influence of Critical Micelle Concentration of Surfactants on the Performance of Cleansing Products and Optimization Strategies
Currently,the key ingredient in most cleansers is surfactants.Surfactants undergo a series of changes in properties near their critical micelle concentration,which can influence the performance of cleanser products,especially in terms of irritability and residual.This article provided a brief overview of the relationship between critical micelle concentration and cleaners performance.It also summarized common methods for reducing the critical micelle concentration of surfactants in product formulation as well as discussed the mechanisms and advantages and disadvantages of common critical micelle concentration testing methods.In addition,it supplied feasible suggestions for creating cleansers with excellent performance and offered insights for the future.
