Study on the Factors Affecting the Viscosity of Dishwashing Detergent Products
The effects on the viscosity of dishwashing detergent products were investigated, focusing on the ratio of linear alkylbenzene sulfonate(LAS)and fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulfate(AES)as the main formulation system.Additional factors examined included AES from different manufacturers, varying amounts of α-olefin sulfonate(AOS),cocamidopropyl betaine(CAB),sodium chloride(NaCl),magnesium chloride(MgCl2),and different process conditions. The results showed that the mixture ratio of LAS and AES had a great effect on the viscosity of the system, and the viscosity of the samples produced by AES from different manufacturers was also different. As the amount of AOS increased, the system's viscosity gradually decreased.Conversely,as the amount of CAB increased, the system's viscosity significantly increased. The maximum amount and thickening effect of sodium chloride varied across different systems, while magnesium chloride achieved better thickening effects with smaller amounts. The viscosity of the system decreased with the increase of the amount of urea, and the final viscosity of the product was less affected by the different feeding sequence of the process conditions.
