Evaluation of Heavy Oil Removal Efficacy of Surfactants in Dishwashing Detergents and Assessment of Biobased Carbon Content
With the development of the market economy and the improvement of the quality of life of the people, consumers have begun to put forward new requirements for detergent products, such as the ability to remove heavy oil from Chinese food oil stains and green natural formulas that cater to low-carbon development. To balance the requirements of heavy oil removal performance and green low-carbon,this article evaluates the heavy oil removal performance of twelve commonly used surfactants, meanwhile evaluate the heavy oil removal performance of AES and LAS under different blending ratios, and screen the basic formula. In addition,to enhance the green and low-carbon index of detergent formulations, the bio based carbon content of surfactants was evaluated, and the heavy oil removal performance and bio based carbon content of ternary formulations were evaluated. The results showed that the optimal combination ratio of AES and LAS was 3:5,and the addition of high bio based carbon content surfactants such as APG1214 could achieve heavy oil removing with green and low-carbon dishwasher detergent.
