Study on the Performance of Cleansing Cream Prepared with D-phase Emulsification
The water-in-oil remover cream with high internal phase>78 wt%was prepared by D-phase emulsification with the variables of content of surfactants and cleaning emulsifiers. The results showed that the stability of the cream containing solid/liquid emulsifier was higher, followed by the system containing only solid or liquid emulsifier. However, the system without emulsifier had the lowest stability, and oil seepage occurred began at room temperature on day 21.The electrical conductivity and Zeta potential test results also indicated that the removing cream containing both solid and liquid emulsifiers had stable electrical conductivity and higher absolute Zeta potential. In the makeup removal capability test, each group of makeup remover cream demonstrated a good ability to remove different kinds of makeups. To conclude,it can be seen that the makeup remover cream prepared by D-phase emulsification technology with around 7%cleaning surfactant could achieve satisfactory makeup remover effect.
