抗南方根结线虫西瓜砧木资源的筛选

为筛选抗南方根结线虫的西瓜砧木资源,以32份南瓜、23份西瓜、20份笋瓜为试材,采用人工接种的方法鉴定其对南方根结线虫的抗性.结果表明,不同作物和同种作物的不同种质对南方根结线虫的抗性均表现出一定的差异.忽略基因型差异,不同作物的平均病级指数从小到大依次为:西瓜、南瓜、笋瓜,通过抗性鉴定,在西瓜野生种得到‘PI 606135’‘PI 482298’‘PI 189225’‘PI 482324’4份中抗南方根结线虫的种质材料.
Screening of watermelon rootstocks resistant to southern root-knot nematode
The root-knot nematode is serious disease of watermelon in the world,and watermelon cultivar resistance to southern root-knot nematodes has not been identified.Therefore,we evaluated seventy-five accessions of cucurbit crops,including 32 pumpkin,23 watermelon and 20 winter squash by artificial inoculation in the greenhouse.The study showed that the resistance varied in germplasms from different crops.Ignoring genotypic differences,the order of average disease indexes of different crops from high to low is watermelon,pumpkin,and winter squash.Four C.lanatus var.citroides (‘PI 606135’‘PI 482298’ ‘PI 189225’ ‘PI 482324’) were identified as moderately resistant to southern root-knot nematodes.
