Field resistance identification of melon germplasm resources to melon necrotic spot virus disease
Melon necrotic spot virus disease caused by melon necrotic spot virus(MNSV)infection has occurred in many parts of China,seriously affecting the yield and quality of melon.In this study,392 melon germplasms from home and abroad were used as experimental materials,and the method of natural infected in the field was used to investigate the incidence of disease at the fruit stop expanding period,and calculate the incidence rate,disease index,and relative resistance index.The results showed that among 392 melon germplasm resources,there were 296 high resistance materials,including 50 medium resistance materials,25 medium sensitivity materials,and 21 high sensitivity materials.Among them,245 out of the 302 thick skin melon inbred pure lines(accounting for 81.13%)showed high resistance,14 of the 26 landraces thick skin melon inbred lines(accounting for 53.85%)showed high resistance germplasm,8 landraces of thin skin melon inbred lines are all high resistance germplasm resources,8 of the 11 foreign germplasm resources(account-ing for 72.73%)showed high resistance,15 of the 31 domestic hybrid generation(accounting for 48.39%)showed high resistance,and 6 of the 14 foreign hybrid generation(accounting for 42.86%)showed high resistance.
