Status of production and marketing of ginger industry in China in recent ten years and future development strategies
Ginger(Zingiber officinale Rosc.)is a spicy vegetable crop valued for its culinary properties and medicinal potential.It is among the top crops in terms of economic benefits,and has played active roles in consolidating the achieve-ments of poverty alleviation and connecting rural revitalization.The authors analyzed the status of production and market-ing and existing problems of ginger industry in China in recent ten years,and put forward some suggestions for future development that may be beneficial to relevant decision makers and practitioners.
