Distribution of weeds around the main growing areas of cucumber in Sanya
Cucumber production in Hainan is mainly concentrated in the winter.In order to grasp the distribution of weeds around the main cucumber planting areas in Sanya and put forward reasonable control measures for the green and efficient production of cucumber,the weeds around the main cucumber planting areas in Sanya were surveyed.The re-sults show that there are a total of 16 families,27 genera and 29 species of weeds around the main cucumber planting ar-eas in Sanya,which accounted for the highest proportion of weeds in the Asteraceae family(25.96％),significantly more than weeds of other families;followed by weeds of Amaranthaceae(15.38％),Salicaceae(15.38％),and Rubiaceae(10.10％).Fragrant amaranth and patchouli thistle had a clear dominance,followed by green spiker amaranth,sumac whitebait,ghost needlewort,wrinkled fruit amaranth,oxalis,lobelia,and fleabane.
