The vegetable industry is the second largest industry in China's plantation industry,second only to grain.It is an essential agricultural product in the lives of urban and rural residents.Ensuring the supply of vegetables is a major livelihood issue in China.Shouguang has a long history of vegetable farming and a large scale of planting area.It is the birthplace of winter warm greenhouses and the largest vegetable production base in China.Against the background of building agricultural power,this paper elaborates the current situation of the vegetable industry in Shouguang.Uisng the SWOT matrix analysis method,the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and challenges currently facing the growth of Shouguang vegetable industry are analyzed,and the sustainable development direction of vegetable industry is discussed in Shouguang.Based on the rural revitalization theory,the research proposes countermeasures and suggestions for the sustainable development of Shouguang vegetable industry from the aspects of industry revitalization,cultural revitalization,ecology revitalization,and talent revitalization,in order to promote the development of the vegetable industry in Shouguang and provide a reference for the high-quality development of the national vegetable industry.
