Effect of receptor interaction protein kinase-3 specific inhibitor GSK872 combined with Yimusake tablets on erectile function of diabetic mellitus erectile dysfunction rats
Objective To investigate the effects of receptor interaction protein kinase-3(RIP3)specific inhibitor GSK872 combined with Yimusake tablets on erectile function of diabetic mellitus erectile dysfunction(DMED)rats. Methods Among 150 male SD rats,20 were randomly selected as normal control group(N group),and the remaining 130 rats were injected with streptozotocin(45 mg/kg)for two consecutive days to induce DMED rat models. After 8 weeks of modeling,115 DMED rats were screened and 80 rats were randomly selected and divided into DMED model group(DMED group),GSK872 intervention group(RIP3i group),Yimusake tablets intervention group(Y group)and GSK872 combined with Yimusake tablets intervention group(RIP3i+Y group),with 20 rats in each group. After 14 days intervention, the effect of intervention was comprehensively evaluated by random blood glucose test, apomorphine(APO)test and sexual behavioural test. Results Compared with N group, the rats in DMED group showed increased random blood glucose, and decreased erectile function and sexual function(P<0.05).Compared with DMED group, there were no significant differences in random blood glucose of rats in RIP3i group,Y group and RIP3i+Y group(P>0.05),but the erectile function and sexual function increased(P<0.05),with the increase in RIP3i+Y group being more significant(P<0.05).Conclusions RIP3 specific inhibitor GSK872 and Yimusake tablets can both improve erectile function in DMED rats, and the effect of combined intervention is superior than that of single intervention.
