Effects of oral short-acting contraceptives on curative effect, sex hormones and anti-Müllerian hormone in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome
Objective To analyze the effect of oral short-acting contraceptives on the curative effect, sex hormones and anti-Mullerian hormone(AMH)in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS).Methods A total of 120 PCOS patients admitted to Wuming Hospital,Guangxi Medical University between March 2020 and June 2022 were randomly divided into observation group and control group according to random envelope method, with 60 cases in each group.Patients in observation group were treated with Drospirenone and Ethinylestradiol Tablets intervention and patients in control group were treated with Ethinylestradiol and Cyproterone Acetate Tablets. The clinical symptoms, sex hormones and AMH were investigated before and after treatment. Results After treatment, the incidences of hirsutism, facial acne, amenorrhea and oligomenorrhea in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);after treatment,estrogen(E2),luteinizing hormone(LH),follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),androgen(T),AMH,fasting C-peptide(FC-p),fasting insulin(FINS),insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR)were lower than control group, sex hormone binding globulin(SHBG)level was significantly higher than control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the biochemical pregnancy rate, clinical pregnancy rate and ovulation rate of patients in observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05);there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the observation group and the control group after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusions Compared with Ethinylestradiol and Cyproterone Acetate Tablets,Drospirenone and Ethinylestradiol Tablets can more effectively improve the clinical curative effect of patients and reduce the levels of sex hormones and AMH in patients.
