Study of influence of intrapartum ultrasound monitoring on delivery outcomes
Objective To explore the influence of vaginal palpation and intrapartum ultrasound monitoring on the delivery outcomes. Methods A total of 200 full-term single pregnant women delivered in Nanxun District People's Hospital from December 2021 to November 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into group A and group B with 100 cases each by random number table method.Among them, group B received vaginal palpation, while group A received transabdominal combined transperineal ultrasound. The number of examinations, the total time of membrane rupture, the average time of labor, the rate of forceps, the rate of spontaneous labor, the rate of cesarean section, the rate of uterine cavity operation, the distance between the front and back lips of the cervix, and the coincidence rate of fetal orientation were compared between the two groups.Numeric rating scales(NRS)scores and adverse events were compared between two groups. Results The number of examinations and the rate of cesarean section in group A were significantly lower than those in group B,the coincidence rate of fetal orientation in group A was significantly higher than that in group B,the NRS score in group A was significantly lower than that in group B,and the total incidence of adverse events in group A was significantly lower than that in group B,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusions The combination of transabdominal and transperineal ultrasound in pregnant women can effectively improve the quality of detection, reduce the number of maternal examinations and pain scores, and reduce the risk of adverse events.
