Study on premarital sexual behavior status and influencing factors of migrant adolescents aged 15-24 years in Zhuhai
Objective To investigate the status and influencing factors of premarital sexual behavior among migrant adolescents aged 15-24 in Zhuhai.Methods From January to August 2020,multi-stage stratified randomized cluster sampling method was used to select study subjects,cross-sectional survey was carried out with self-designed questionnaires,and inter-group comparison was carried out withx2 test and multi-factor unconditional Logistic regression model to analyze the influencing factors of premarital sexual behavior status among migrant adolescents.Results A total of 1,060 migrant adolescents were included,and 931(87.8%)of whom had premarital sexual behavior.Among them,8.2%of the sex objects were homosexual,and the proportion of female was higher than that in male(P<0.05).In the past year,47.9%of migrant adolescents never used condoms in sexual behavior,and the proportion of men was higher than that of women(P<0.05).Unconditional Logistic regression analysis showed that women,daily working hours of 11-<14 hours were protective factors for premarital sexual behavior,and age of 20-24 years old,education level of high school/college,and monthly income of 2,000-<5,000 yuan were risk factors for premarital sexual behavior.Conclusions The proportion of premarital sexual behaviors and human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)-related high-risk sexual behaviors among migrant adolescents aged 15-24 years in Zhuhai is high.Male,the older age,the more educated,the shorter daily working hours,and higher monthly income of migrant adolescents are more likely to have premarital sexual behaviors,and female homosexual behavior also deserves attention.
