Investigation and influencing factors analysis on the depression status in patients with psychogenic anejaculation
Objective To investigate the depression status of patients with psychogenic anejaculation(PAE),and to analyze relevant influencing factors. Methods A total of 80 patients with PAE who came to the Drum Tower Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing University School of Medical for sexual counseling from January 2021 to August 2023 were selected as the research subjects. The general information scale was used to collect patients'basic information, and the patient health questionnaire-9(PHQ-9)was used to investigate patients'depression status.Univariate and multivariate Logistic regression analysis were used to analyze the influencing factors of depression occurence in patients with PAE.Results The incidence of depression in patients with PAE was 68.75%(55/80).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that the 6-24 months course of the disease(OR=6.782,95%CI:1.238-37.163),the>24 months course of the disease(OR=7.765,95%CI:1.404-42.951)and having reproductive pressure(OR =3.203,95%CI:1.011-10.150)were risk factors for depression occurence in patients with PAE(P<0.05),and having sexual satisfaction with sexual partners(OR=0.161,95%CI:0.037-0.706)was the protective factor for depression occurence(P<0.05).Conclusions The incidence of depression in patients with PAE is high, and its influencing factors include the course of disease, reproductive pressure, and sexual satisfaction.Cognitive behavioral therapy, relaxation training, and rational emotional therapy shoulde be taken to improve these factors.
