Effects of recombinant human interferon α-2b gel on immune function and vaginal microecological recovery condition in cervical squamous intraepithelial lesions patients with human papilloma virus infection
Objective To explore the clinical effect of recombinant human interferon α-2b gel in cervical squamous intraepithelial lesions patients with human papilloma virus(HPV).Methods A total of 116 cervical squamous intraepithelial lesions patients with HPV infection admitted to Lishui Maternal and Child Health Hospital from February 2020 to February 2023 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into the group A and the group B by random number table method, with 58 cases in each group. The group A was given policresulen suppositories, and the group B was given recombinant human interferon α-2b gel based on the group A.The clinical efficacy, vaginal microecological recovery condition after 3 months of treatment, immune function,C-reactive protein(CRP),Toll-like receptor 2(TLR2),interleukin-17(IL-17),transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β)and interferon-γ(IFN-γ)levels before and after 3 months of treatment were compared between the two groups. Results After 3 months of treatment, the total effective rate of group B was higher than the group A(P<0.05).After 3 months of treatment, the levels of peripheral blood cluster of differentiation 3+(CD3+)and CD4+in both groups were higher than before treatment, and the group B was higher than the group A.The levels of peripheral blood CD8+,helper T cell 17(Th17),regulatory T cell(Treg)and Th17/Treg in both groups were lower than before treatment, and the group B was lower than the group A(P<0.05).After 3 months of treatment, the proportion of patients in the group B with normal or recovered vaginal microecology and lactobacillus with medium/large quantities were higher than the group A,and the vaginal pH in the group B was lower than that in the group A(P<0.05).After 3 months of treatment, the levels of serum TLR2,CRP,TGF-β,IL-17,IFN-γin both groups were lower than before treatment, and the group B was lower than the group A(P<0.05).Conclusions Treatment with recombinant human interferon α-2b gel can effectively promote the recovery of vaginal microecology, regulate the levels of related factors, reduce inflammatory reaction, improve immune function, and improve the therapeutic effect in cervical squamous intraepithelial lesions patients with HPV.
