Clinical value of serum histone deacetylase 6 and forkhead box O3a protein levels in predicting gestational diabetes mellitus complicated with severe preeclampsia
Objective To explore the clinical value of serum histone deacetylase 6(HDAC6)and forkhead box O3a(FoxO3a)protein levels in predicting gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM)complicated with severe preeclampsia(sPE).Methods A total of 224 singleton pregnancy women who gave birth in the First People's Hospital of Guangyuan from July 2021 to July 2022 were selected as the study objects.Among them,78 GDM pregnant women were set as GDM group,76 GDM complicated with sPE pregnant women were set as GDM-sPE group, and 70 normal pregnant women were set as control group.Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was applied to detect the serum protein levels of HDAC6 and FoxO3a.Pearson analysis was applied to analyze the correlation between serum HDAC6 and FoxO3a in GDM-sPE patients.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was drawn to analyze the predictive value of HDAC6 and FoxO3a on GDM-sPE.Logistic regression analysis was applied to analyze the influencing factors of GDM-sPE occurence. Results The levels of HDAC6 and FoxO3a in GDM-sPE group were significantly higher than those in GDMgroup and control group, and those in GDMgroup were significantly higher than those in control group(P<0.05).Correlation analysis showed that the serum expression levels of HDAC6 and FoxO3a in GDM-sPE patients was positively correlated(r=0.569,P<0.001).The ROC curve analysis showed that the area under curve(AUC)value predicted by HDAC6 and FoxO3a combined was higher than HDAC6 and FoxO3a alone(Z =24.214,P<0.001;Z=19.601,P<0.001).Logistic regression analysis showed that FBG,HDAC6 and FoxO3a were the influencing factors of GDM-sPE occurrence(P<0.05).Conclusions The serum expression levels of HDAC6 and FoxO3a in patients with GDM-sPE are significantly increased, and the combination of them has a certain predictive value for GDM-sPE.
