Serum microRNA-26b expression and its relationship with placental abruption in patients with early-onset preeclampsia
Objective To analyze serum microRNA-26b(miR-26b)expression and its relationship with placental abruption in patients with early-onset preeclampsia. Methods A total of 102 patients with early-onset preeclampsia admitted to Jingzhou Central Hospital from August2019 to August2022 were selected as the study subjects. The relative expression of miR-26b was measured in all patients, followed up until delivery. The relative expression of miR-26b in all patients was detected and followed up until delivery.According to the occurrence of placental abruption, the patients were divided into placental abruption group and non-placental abruption group. The serum miR-26b expression in patients with early-onset preeclampsia and its relationship with placental abruption were analyzed. Results The incidence of placental abruption in 102 patients with early-onset preeclampsia was 17.65%(18/102).The relative expression level of serum miR-26b in placental abruption group was higher than that of non-placental abruption group(P<0.05).According to the quartile of serum miR-26b at the time of diagnosis, patients were divided into Q1 group(n =25),Q2 group(n =27),Q3 group(n =24),and Q4 group(n =26).The incidence of placental abruption in Q4 group was higher than that in Q1 group,Q2 group, and Q3 group(P<0.05).By point binary correlation analysis, serum miR-26b was positively correlated with the incidence of placental abruption in patients with early-onset preeclampsia(r = 0.458,P<0.05).The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve of the subjects was drawn. The serum miR-26b had medium predictive value for placental abruption in patients with early-onset preeclampsia, and the best predictive value could be obtained when the relative expression of serum miR-26b was 2.465.Conclusions Serum miR-26b is related to the occurrence of placental abruption in patients with early-onset preeclampsia, and detecting the relative expression level of serum miR-26b can provide important value for predicting placental abruption.
