Effects of gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist combined with laparoscopic surgery on serum sex hormones and ovarian reserve function in patients with ovarian endometrial cyst
Objective To observe the effects of gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist(GnRH-a)combined with laparoscopic surgery on serum sex hormones and ovarian reserve function in patients with ovarian endometrial cyst(OEC).Methods A total of 150 patients with OEC admitted to Yibin Second People's Hospital from January 2020 to March 2022 were selected as study subjects,and were divided into GnRH-a group(n =75)and control group(n =75)by the random number table grouping method.The control group received laparoscopic surgery,while the GnRH-a group was combined with GnRH-a treatment on the basis of laparoscopic surgery.The therapeutic effects of the two groups after treatment were compared,and the menstrual conditions(menstrual period,dysmenorrhea degree),sex hormones[luteinizing hormone(LH),follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),progesterone(P),estradiol(E2)],ovarian reserve function and cytokines[regulated upon activation normal T expressed and secreted(RANTES),high mobility group box protein B1(HMGB1)]were observed in the two groups before and after treatment.At 1 year of follow-up,the cyst recurrence and pregnancy condition were statistically analyzed.Results After treatment,the total effective rate in the two groups was compared,and the difference was statistically different(P<0.05).The menstrual conditions(menstrual period,dysmenorrhea visual analogue scale score),sex hormones(LH,FSH,P,E2)and serum RANTES and HMGB1 levels in GnRH-a group were lower than those in control group after treatment(P<0.05).The number of basal follicles and ovarian volume in GnRH-a group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05).Conclusions GnRH-a combined with laparoscopic surgery has a significant efficacy in the treatment of OEC,which can effectively improve the clinical symptoms,sex hormone levels and ovarian reserve function,regulate the cytokines,reduce the recurrence rate and enhance the pregnancy rate in patients.
