Effects of goserelin acetate combined with drospirenone and ethinylestradiol tablet(Ⅱ)assisted surgical treatment on levels of serum sex hormones and postoperative recurrence in patients with endometriosis
Objective To explore the effects of goserelin acetate combined with drospirenone and ethinylestradiol tablet(Ⅱ)assisted surgical treatment on levels of serum sex hormones and postoperative recurrence in patients with endometriosis(EMS).Methods A total of 104 patients with EMS treated in Qingdao Municipal Hospital between January 2020 and January 2022 were selected as the research objects,and they were randomly divided into control group(n =52)and combination group(n =52).The control group was treated with goserelin acetate,and the combination group was treated with goserelin acetate combined with drospirenone and ethinylestradiol tablet(Ⅱ).The levels of estradiol(E2),luteinizing hormone(LH),follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),interleukin-6(IL-6)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)before and after treatment,clinical curative effect,disease recurrence and pregnancy during 12 months of follow-up,and safety during treatment were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,total effective rate of combination group was higher than that of control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,levels of E2,LH and FSH in both groups decreased,which were higher in combination group than control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,levels of IL-6 and TNF-αdecreased in both groups(P＜0.05),but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P＞0.05).Compared with control group during 12 months of follow-up,recurrence rate was lower and pregnancy rate was higher in combination group(P＜0.05).During treatment,the incidence of side effects was lower in combination group than control group(P＜0.05).Conclusions Goserelin acetate combined with drospirenone and ethinylestradiol tablet(Ⅱ)can improve curative effect and levels of sex hormones,reduce disease recurrence rate and incidence of side effects,and increase pregnancy rate in treatment of EMS.
