Impacts of Xinjia Guishen Pill combined with estradiol tablets/estradiol and dydrogesterone tablets on ovarian function and Kupperman score in patients with premature ovarian failure
Objective To investigate the impacts of Xinjia Guishen Pill combined with estradiol tablets/estradiol and dydrogesterone tablets on ovarian function and Kupperman score in patients with premature ovarian failure(POF).Methods A total of 90 patients with POF from Chengdu Women's and Children's Central Hospital,Chengdu Qingyang District Maternal and Child Health and Family Planning Service Center, and Chengdu Longquan District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2020 to June 2022 were selected as the study objects.According to random number table method, they were devided into the western medicine group(n =30),Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)group(n =30),and combined group(n =30),and were treated with estradiol tablets/estradiol and dydrogesterone tablets,Xinjia Guishen Pill, estradiol tablets/estradiol and dydrogesterone tablets+Xinjia Guishen Pill, respectively. After one course of treatment, the TCM syndrome score,Kupperman score and ovarian function index were compared before and after treatment, and the curative effect was compared. Results The total effective rate of the combined group was 93.33%,which was higher than 60.00%in the western medicine group and 76.67%in the TCM group(P<0.05).After treatment, the TCM syndrome score,Kupperman score, serum follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)and luteinizing hormone(LH)levels in the combined group were significantly lower than those in the TCM group and the western medicine group(P<0.05).After treatment, the estradiol(E2)level,ovarian volume, the number of antral follicles and endometrial thickness in the combined group were significantly higher than those in the western medicine group and TCM group(P<0.05).Conclusions Xinjia Guishen Pill combined with estradiol tablets/estradiol and dydrogesterone tablets is effective in the treatment of POF,which can regulate hormone levels and optimize ovarian function.
