Erectile dysfunction(ED)is a common disorder in men,and regardless of the etiology,penile prosthesis implantation surgery is the recommended surgical treatment for drug-resistant ED.With the development of penile prosthesis implantation surgery in China,it must be recognized that surgical complications can have an impact on the quality of life and satisfaction of patients.This article provides a review of complications after penile prosthesis implantation and related studies to provide reference for physicians to understand and deal with related complications.
