Analysis of clinical factors affecting pregnancy rate of intrauterine insemination
Objective To investigate related factors affecting pregnancy rate of intrauterine insemination(IUI).Methods The clinical data of 615 cycles of infertile couples treated with IUI in the Reproductive Medicine Center,Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture Central Hospital from December 2017 to September 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. The correlative factors affecting pregnancy rate of IUI were analyzed. Results The study included a total of 615 IUI cycles,of which 71 cycles resulted in pregnancy, with a pregnancy rate of 11.54%(71/615),65 cycles resulted in clinical pregnancy, with a clinical pregnancy rate of 10.57%(65/615).There was a statistically significant difference in the clinical pregnancy rates between women with thinner women,normal-weight women, overweight women, and obese women(P<0.05).There were significant differences among pregnancy rate of ovulation number ≥ 2,clinical pregnancy rate and pregnancy rate of ovulation number=1.The number of ovulation(OR=1.970,95%CI:1.155-3.359)was an independent factor affecting pregnancy rate(P<0.05).Conclusions The number of ovulation is a related factor affecting the pregnancy rate of IUI.
