Effect of Shugan Zishen Prescription combined with acupoint acupuncture treatment on pregnancy outcomes of diminished ovarian reserve patients with in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer
Objective To explore the effect of the combination of Shugan Zishen Prescription combined with acupoint acupuncture treatment on pregnancy outcomes of diminished ovarian reserve(DOR)patients with in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer(IVF-ET).Methods A total of 90 DOR patients admitted to Hebei Cangzhou Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine Hospital from January 2020 to December 2021 were selected as the study subjects.They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group,with 45 cases in each group.The control group received fixed treatment with antagonists,while the observation group received treatment with Shugan Zishen Prescription combined with acupoint acupuncture on the basis of the control group.The reproductive hormones levels,positive rate of human chorionic gonadotropin.(hCG),clinical pregnancy rate,embryo implantation rate,and live birth rate of the patients in two groups were observed.Results After treatment,the levels of estradiol(E2),testosterone(T),and prolactin(PRL)increased in both groups compared to those before treatment,while the levels of follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)and luteinizing hormone(LH)decreased compared to those before treatment.The improvement of reproductive hormone indicators levels in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group,and the differences were all statistically significant(P＜0.05).The positive rate of hCG,clinical pregnancy rate,embryo implantation rate,and live birth rate in the observation group were all higher than those in the control group,and the differences were all statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusions Shugan Zishen Prescription combined with acupoint acupuncture treatment can improve ovarian reserve function in DOR patients and increase the pregnancy rate of DOR patients with IVF-ET.
