Efficacy of pelvic floor muscle training combined with micro-lattice laser in the treatment of mild to moderate postpartum stress urinary incontinence and its influence on quality of sexual life
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of pelvic floor muscle training(PFMT)combined with micro-lattice laser in the treatment of mild to moderate postpartum stress urinary incontinence(PSUI)and its influence on the quality of sexual life.Methods A total of 240 cases of mild to moderate PSUI patients admitted to Affiliated Hospital of Southwest Jiaotong University,the First People's Hospital of Neijiang,and Sichuan Jinxin Women and Children's Hospital from January 2020 to October 2022 were selected as study objects,and divided into the control group and the study group according to random number table methods,with 120 cases each.The patients in the control group were treated with PFMT,while the patients in the study group was given PFMT combined with micro-lattice laser treatment for 3 months.The patients were followed up for 3 months.The clinical efficacy,1-hour urine leakage before and after treatment,urinary incontinence symptom score,quality of life score,postpartum depression screening scale(PDSS)score,postpartum specific anxiety scale(PSAS)score,quality of sexual life scores and adverse reactions condition were compared between the two groups.Results The marked response rate and total effective rate of the study group were higher than those of the control group(P＜0.05).The 1-hour urine leakage after treatment in the study group was less than that in the control group(P＜0.05).The quality of life score of the study group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).The scores of urinary incontinence symptoms,PDSS and PSAS scores in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The quality of sexual life scores in the study group were higher than those in the control group at the end of treatment and 3 months of follow-up(P＜0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was 6.78％,and no adverse reactions occurred in the control group.Conclusions PFMT combined with micro-lattice laser is effective in the treatment of mild to moderate PSUI.It can increase the efficiency,improve the quality of life of patients,relieve postrpartum anxiety and depression,and improve the quality of sexual life.
