The efficacy observation of pelvic floor myofascial manipulation combined with magneto-electric in the treatment of chronic pelvic pain syndrome in women
Objective To investigate the effects of pelvic floor myofascial manipulation combined with magneto-electric therapy on pain, basic life activities and pelvic floor electrophysiology in female patients with chronic pelvic pain syndrome. Methods A total of 60 female patients with chronic pelvic pain syndrome admitted to the Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation Center of Suining Central Hospital from January 2021 to February 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into a control group and an experimental group by random number table, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with magneto-electric,and the experimental group was treated with pelvic floor myofascial manipulation based on magneto-electric treatment. The visual analogue scale(VAS)scores, pain disorder index(PDI)and pelvic floor electrophysiological indexes were collected before and immediately after treatment in both groups, and the VAS scores and PDI of two groups were followed up 3 and 6 months after treatment. Results The VAS scores and PDI of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group immediately,3 months and 6 months after treatment, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Immediately after treatment, the average pre-resting and post-resting mean electromyography(EMG)values of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group, and the maximal EMG values of fast muscle, mean EMG values of slow muscle, and endurance mean EMG values of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions Pelvic floor myofascial manipulation combined with magneto-electric in the treatment of female patients with chronic pelvic pain syndrome is beneficial to improve the electrophysiological function of the pelvic floor, reduce the degree of pain and improve the basic life activities.
