Extemal treatment of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)is widely used in andrology diseases because of its convenient,safe,effective and economic characteristics.Professor Tan Xinhua believes that the mechanism of TCM external treatment in andrology diseases includes clearing heat and detoxification,killing insects and sterilization;acupoint stimulation and inspiring healthy Qi,fragrance through the orifice,Qi and blood circulation;sour and astringent convergence,reducing allergy and solid essence.And the commonly using hot ironing method,impregnation method,fumigation method,sittbath method,application method to treat common andrology diseases fully enbodies the value and advantages of TCM extemal treatment in treating andrology diseases,and has guiding significance for the application of TCM extemal treatment in treating andrology diseases.
