Objective To explore the influences of modified Shoutai Pill combined with progesterone injection on curative effect,sex hormones,serum interleukin-2(IL-2),interleukin-6(IL-6)and C-reactive protein(CRP)levels in patients with early threatened abortion of kidney deficiency type.Methods A total of 104 pregnant women with threatened abortion admitted to Taihe Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital Affiliated to Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected as study objects from October 2020 to March 2023.According to simple random grouping method,they were divided into observation group(n=52)and control group(n=52).The control group was treated with progesterone injection,while observation group was treated with modified Shoutai Pill combined with progesterone injection.After treatment,the syndrome score and curative effect of the two groups were compared.The sex hormones,serum IL-2,IL-6 and CRP levels before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,scores of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndromes of lower abdominal pain,vaginal bleeding,knees soreness in observation group and control group were all lower than before treatment,and observation group was lower than control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the effective rate of observation group was higher than that of control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,levels of progesterone(P),estradiol(E2),β-human chorionic gonadotropin(β-hCG)in observation group and control group were all higher than before treatment,and observation group was higher than control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,levels of serum IL-2,IL-6 and CRP in observation group and control group were all lower than before treatment,and observation group was lower than control group(P＜0.05).Conclusions Modified Shoutai Pill combined with progesterone injection can effectively increase sex hormone levels and decrease serum IL-2,IL-6 and CRP levels in pregnant women with early threatened abortion of kidney deficiency type,with good curative effect.
