Visual analysis of"circumcision"research based on CiteSpace
Objective To discuss the hot spots and trends of research on circumcision since the invention and its application in clinical practice of disposable circumcision anastomosis in 2008,and to provide a reference basis for the selection of circumcision and optimization of the protocol in the clinical treatment of phimosis or redundant prepuce.Methods CiteSpace 5.7 R5 was used to visually analyze the papers in the research field of"circumcision"in CNKI from 1 January 2008 to 31 December 2020.Results A total of 2,262 papers were published in Chinese journals in the field of"circumcision"from 2008 to 2020,with a trend of increasing and then decreasing year by year,of which the maximum number of published papers was 232 in the year of 2011.The cooperation among researchers was high,mainly team research,but the cooperation among research institutions was low."Modified devine technique"has gradually become a research hotspot and trend in this field since 2017.Conclusions In 2009,the core research team in the field of"circumcision"has been formed initially,but the research efforts still need to be strengthened.The cooperation between researchers from different regions and research institutions needs to be further strengthened.How to further improve the surgical effect and treatment experience of patients and how to reduce the burden of circumcision on the environment should be the focus of future research.
