Effect of vaginal tightening operation in the treatment of moderately severe vaginal laxity and its effect on the vaginal microecology
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of vaginal tightening operation in the treatment of patients with moderately severe vaginal laxity and its effect on vaginal microecology.Methods A total of 150 patients with moderately severe vaginal laxity admitted to Guizhou Aerospace Hospital,the First Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical University,and People's Hospital of Wuchuan County from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected as research subjects.According to the order of treatment,the patients were randomly divided into observation group(n=74,treated by vaginal tightening surgery)and control group(n=76,treated by pelvic floor rehabilitation physical therapy).The treatment effect and vaginal microecological status of the two groups were compared.Results Before treatment,there were no significant differences in vaginal laxity score and sexual satisfaction score between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the above scores in observation group were higher than those in control group,with significant differences(P<0.05).Before treatment,there were no differences in the abnormal detection rate of vaginal secretions clue cells,candida and trichomonas,and Nugent scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the above indicators in observation group were lower than those in control group,with significant difference(P<0.05).Before treatment,there were no difference in the normal detection rate between the two groups in terms of bacterial diversity,bacterial density,proportion of Gram positive macrobacilli and proportion of other bacteria(P>0.05).After treatment,the above indicators were higher than those in the control group,with significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusions Vaginal tightening operation can improve microecology disorder caused by vaginal laxity,and correct the characteristics of repeatedly vaginal inflammation caused by vaginal laxity,which has exact therapeutic effect for vaginal laxity treatment
