Design and effectiveness analysis of reproductive health education courses based on the needs of college students
Objective To investigate the teaching effect of the quality-development elective course of"Reproductive Health Education for College Students"in comprehensive universities,and to provide reference for the development of related education.Methods Based on the results of literature review and student interviews,the"Reproductive Health Education for College Students"course was launched from March to May 2022 in a university of Yichang,Hubei.Before the beginning of the course and after the end of the course,the students'mastery condition of reproductive health knowledge was evaluated and the students'evaluation of the course were comprehended.Results After the end of the course,the correct rate of college students mastering reproductive health-related knowledge was significantly higher than before the course(P<0.001).More than 95%of college students believed that they have increased their knowledge of reproductive health.The results of word cloud suggested that college students think that learning the course was beneficial to the maintenance of reproductive health and the enhancement of self-protection awareness.Conclusions Reproductive health courses can improve college students'knowledge of reproductive health,and students'satisfaction is high.Colleges and universities should pay attention to the education of reproductive health for college students.
