Correlation between tissue cluster of differentiation 4+lymphocytes level and risk of pelvic lymph node metastasis in patients with radical prostate cancer resection
Objective To investigate the correlation between cluster of differentiation(CD)4+lymphocytes level and pelvic lymph node metastasis in resected tissue from prostate cancer(PC)radical resection. Methods A total of 139 patients admitted to Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from January 2019 to December 2022 who were diagnosed with PC for the first time and met the implementation criteria for radical PC surgery were selected as study objects.According to the status of pelvic lymph node metastasis, all patients were divided into non-metastatic group and metastatic group(with pelvic lymph node metastasis). The relevant data of the patients were statistically analyzed, and flow cytometry analysis was performed on the resected tissues of the of intraoperative patients. The related factors affecting pelvic lymph node metastasis were analyzed. Results There was a statistically significant difference in international society of urological pathology(ISUP)grading between the non-metastatic group and the metastatic group(P<0.05).Free prostate specific antigen(PSA),CD4+Foxp3-PD-1-,CD8+Foxp3-PD-1-and CD8+PD-1+in non-metastatic group were higher than that in metastatic group, and total PSA was lower than that in metastatic group(P<0.05).Free PSA(OR=0.013),CD4+Foxp3-PD-1-(OR=0.831),CD8+Foxp3-PD-1-(OR=0.851)were independent protective factors affecting lymph node metastasis(P<0.05).The area under curve(AUC)of CD4+Foxp3+PD-1-was significantly higher than those of CD8+Foxp3+PD-1-and CD8+PD-1-(Z=2.916,3.533;P<0.05).With the increase of CD4+Foxp3+PD-1-,the risk of lymph node metastasis in PC patients showed a non-linear decrease(x2=0.724,P=0.629).Conclusions CD4+effector T cells were significantly correlated with pelvic lymph node metastasis in PC patients.
