Study on effects of intensity modulated radiation therapy combined with high-intensity focused ultrasound on serum microRNA-155-5p and microRNA-21 expression in patients with advanced cervical cancer
Objective To explore the effects of intensity modulated radiation therapy(IMRT)combined with high-intensity focused ultrasound(HIFU)on serum microRNA(miR)-155-5p and miR-21 in patients with advanced cervical cancer(CC).Methods A total of 104 patients with advanced CC in Chengde Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected as the research objects from June 2020 to June 2022.According to random number table method, they were divided into observation group(n=52)and control group(n=52).The control group was given IMRT,while observation group was given IMRT combined with HIFU.The clinical curative effect, immune function before and after treatment, expression levels of serum miR-155-5p and miR-21,and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The effective rate and disease control rate of observation group were 63.46%(33/52)and 88.46%(46/52),which were higher than 42.31%(22/52),73.08%(38/52)in control group(P<0.05).After treatment,CD3+,CD4+and CD4+/CD8+in observation group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05),while expression levels of miR-155-5p and miR-21 were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions IMRT combined with HIFU has definite efficacy in the treatment of advanced CC,which can improve immune function of patients and reduce expression levels of serum miR-155-5p and miR-21.
