Observation on the therapeutic effect of Wuzi Yanzong Pills on patients with luteal insufficiency and infertility(kidney essence deficiency)
Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of Wuzi Yanzong Pills on patients with luteal insufficiency and infertility(kidney essence deficiency).Methods A total of 120 patients with luteal insufficiency and infertility(kidney essence deficiency)admitted to the Second People's Hospital of Hengshui from February 2020 to January 2022 were selected and divided into observation group and control group through random number table,with 60 cases in each group.The control group was given dydrogesterone,while the observation group was given dydrogesterone combined with Wuzi Yanzong Pills.The symptom scores,efficacy,endocrine and metabolic indexes,safety and pregnancy success rates were compared between two groups after treatment.Results After treatment,the scores of main symptoms,secondary symptoms and the total scores of the two groups all decreased and those in the observation group were all lower(P＜0.05).The total effective rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the scores of serum progesterone(P),luteinizing hormone(LH),follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),estradiol(E2)levels,and high temperature phase duration(HTPD),high and low temperature differences(HLTD),and basic body temperature curve high temperature phase score(HPS)in both groups all increased and those in the observation group were all higher(P＜0.05).The migration days of both groups decreased and the number in the observation group was lower(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).The pregnancy success rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusions Treating luteal insufficiency and infertility(kidney essence deficiency)with Wuzi Yanzong Pills combined with dydrogesterone can reduce symptoms,enhance effect,improve endocrine and metabolic status,increase safety,and can significantly increase the pregnancy success rate.
