Effect of cervical cerclage electrosurgery for the treatment of cervical cancer patients on their serum matrix metalloproteinase-9,leptin levels and the recurrence rate of cervical cancer
Objective To explore the effects of cervical cerclage electrosurgery for the treatment of cervical cancer patients on their serum matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9),leptin levels and cervical cancer recurrence rate. Methods A total of 200 cases of cervical cancer patients admitted to Changde Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2020 to September 2022 were selected as the study subjects, and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with 100 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with cervical cerclage electrosurgery, and the control group was treated with cold knife conization. The perioperative indexes, complication rate, recurrence rate, and visual analog scale(VAS)score of the two groups were compared;and the levels of serum stress factors,immunoglobulin,MMP-9 and leptin of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, intraoperative bleeding in the observation group was less than that in the control group, hospital stay and exhaust time were shorter than those in the control group, and the number of lymphatic clearance number was greater than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The postoperative recurrence rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of immunoglobulin A(IgA),immunoglobulin G(IgG)and immunoglobulin M(IgM)in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group after treatment, and the levels of growth hormone(GH),cortisol(Cor),angiotensin Ⅱ(Ang Ⅱ),MMP-9 and leptin were significantly lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The VAS score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group at 1 d and 1 week postoperatively, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The recurrence rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group in 1 year after operation, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions Cervical cancer patients treated with cervical cerclage electrosurgery can effectively reduce serum MMP-9,leptin and stress factor levels, enhance immunoglobulin levels, with good perioperative indexes, low recurrence rate and good safety.
