Diagnostic value of transvaginal three-dimensional color Doppler ultrasound combined with bloodβ-human chorionic gonadotropin for early ectopic pregnancy
Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of transvaginal three-dimensional color Doppler ultrasound combined with blood β-human chorionic gonadotropin(β-hCG)for early ectopic pregnancy. Methods A total of 80 patients with early ectopic pregnancy who were admitted to Anqing First People's Hospital from August 2020 to September 2023 were selected as study objects and set as the observation group.Meanwhile,80 cases of intrauterine pregnancies during the same period were selected as the control group.Ultrasound parameters and blood β-hCG levels in the two groups were analyzed. The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves of ultrasound parameters, blood β-hCG,and their combination for diagnosing early ectopic pregnancy were plotted. The diagnostic accuracy of transvaginal three-dimensional color Doppler ultrasound combined with blood β-hCG was analyzed based on pathological results. Results There were no statistically significant differences in resistance index, pulsatility index, and peak systolic velocity between the groups(P>0.05).The endometrial thickness and blood β-hCG level of the observation group were smaller/lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).ROC curve analysis results showed that the areas under the curves of endometrial thickness, blood β-hCG,and their combination for diagnosing ectopic pregnancy were 0.833,0.877 and 0.975,respectively(P<0.05).Compared with pathological results,5 cases were missed diagnosis and misdiagnosed by transvaginal three-dimensional color Doppler ultrasound combined with blood β-hCG.The diagnostic accuracy was 93.75%.Conclusions Transvaginal three-dimensional color Doppler ultrasound combined with blood β-hCG has relatively high diagnostic value for early ectopic pregnancy, and can provide reliable information for clinical rapid and accurate diagnosis of early ectopic pregnancy.
