With the development of modern society and changes in living environment,the number of infertile population has been increasing year by year,which has had a significant impact on people's lives.Traditional Chinese medicine believes that kidney Yang deficiency syndrome is one of the main types of infertility.The quality of oocytes is crucial to the outcome of female pregnancy,as it is closely related to the development,fertilization,and embryo maturation of oocytes.Mitochondrial energy metabolism plays a crucial role in the quality of oocytes,and energy metabolism can directly affect follicular development,as well as the quality and developmental potential of eggs.This article discusses and summarizes the relationship among traditional Chinese medicine kidney Yang deficiency syndrome,mitochondrial energy metabolism,and female reproductive ability,exploring the positive role of traditional Chinese medicine in the energy metabolism process of infertility patients with kidney Yang deficiency syndrome,and providing research ideas for the diagnosis and treatment of infertility patients with kidney Yang deficiency syndrome.
