The effect of awn needle acupuncture combined with Buzhong Yiqi Decoction on sexual function in patients with uterine prolapse of middle Qi depression type
Objective To explore the effect of awn needle acupuncture combined with Buzhong Yiqi Decoction on sexual function in patients with uterine prolapse of middle Qi depression.Methods A total of 260 patients with uterine prolapse of middle Qi depression type admitted to Tangshan Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2020 to June 2022 were selected as the study subjects.They were divided into an observation group and a control group by random number table method,with 130 cases each.Control group received pelvic floor muscle training,observation group was treated with awn needle acupuncture combined with Buzhong Yiqi Decoction on the basis of control group.Clinical efficacy of both groups was compared,and pelvic floor function and sexual function of both groups before and after treatment were observed.Results Total effective rate of observation group followed up for 6 months was higher than control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).The maximum contractility of type Ⅰ muscle fibers and type Ⅱ muscle fibers in both groups increased after treatment,and the Chinese version of the female sexual function index(FSFI)scores all increased in both group,the maximum contractility of type Ⅰ muscle fibers and type Ⅱmuscle fibers in observation group was greater than control group,and the FSFI score was higher than control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).Conclusions The clinical effect of awn needle acupuncture combined with Buzhong Yiqi Decoction in the treatment of uterine prolapse of middle Qi depression type is definite,which could effectively improve the function of pelvic floor muscle and sexual function.
