Impacts of Huayu Xiaozheng Decoction combined with methotrexate on the efficacy,tube patency rate,and serum anti-endometrial antibody positive rate in patients with ectopic pregnancy
Objective To investigate the effects of Huayu Xiaozheng Decoction combined with methotrexate on the efficacy,tubal patency rate and serum anti-endometrial antibody(EMAb)positivity rate in patients with ectopic pregnancy.Methods A total of 78 patients with ectopic pregnancy admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2021 to October 2022 were selected as study objects and randomly divided into control group and observation group,with 39 cases in each group.The control group was given methotrexate treatment,and the observation group was given Huayu Xiecheng Decoction combined with methotrexate treatment.The efficacy,tubal patency rate and serum EMAb positivity rate of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate and tubal patency rate of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The EMAb positivity rate,β-human chorionic gonadotropin(β-hCG),luteinizing hormone(LH),and follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH)levels of the two groups after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment,and those of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).After treatment,the estrodiol(E2)levels of the two groups were significantly higher than that before treatment,and that in the observation group was higher than that in the control group with statistically significant difference(P＜0.05).The symptom disappearance time and improvement time of the observation group were significantly shorter than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusions Treating ectopic pregnancy patients with methotrexate in combination with Huayu Xiezhong Decoction can effectively improve tubal patency rate,reduce serum EMAb positive rate,shorten clinical symptom disappearance time,and improve ovarian function,with remarkable clinical effects.
