The value of makorin cyclic finger protein 3 combined with luteinizing hormone baseline value in the diagnosis of idiopathic central precocious puberty in girls
Objective To analyze the value of makorin ring finger protein 3(MKRN3)combined with luteinizing hormone(LH)baseline value in the diagnosis of idiopathic central precocious puberty in girls.Methods A total of 105 girls with idiopathic central precocious puberty admitted to Guidong People's Hospital,Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from February 2019 to March 2023 were selected as the observation group,and 90 healthy girls who came to the same hospital for physical examination during the same period were selected as the control group.Hormone indicators,MKRN3,LH baseline values,and human insulin growth factor BP3(IGF-BP3)levels were compared.Multivariate Logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of idiopathic CPP in girls.The area under the curve(AUC)of the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was used to analyze the diagnostic value of the relevant indicators alone and in combination.Results There was no significant difference in follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH)and prolactin between the two groups(P>0.05).The estradiol(E2)in the observation group was higher than the control group(P<0.05);the MKRN3 in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05),LH base value and IGF-BP3 in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05);Logistic regression analysis results showed that:E2,MKRN3,LH baseline value and IGF-BP3 are the influencing factors of idiopathic CPP in girls(P<0.05);E2,MKRN3,LH baseline values,and IGF-BP3 expression levels and combined diagnosis all have high predictive efficiency for idiopathic CPP,and combined diagnosis had the highest efficiency(P<0.05).Conclusions Serum MKRN3 and LH baseline value in girls with idiopathic CPP has significant changes,they may participate in the pathogenesis of idiopathic CPP.E2,MKRN3,LH baseline values,and IGF-BP3 expression levels and combined diagnosis of these four indexes all have high predictive efficiency for idiopathic CPP,and the combined diagnosis efficacy is the highest.
