Expert consensus on vaginal reconstructive operation
Vaginal reconstructive operation(VRO)is mainly used in cisgender women sexually active due to the lack of functional vagina,or transgender women requiring external genital conversion.There is still a lack of standardized and unified professional guidelines in this field.Under the leadership of the Private Plastic Surgery Branch of the Chinese Sexology Association,the writing group summarized a large amount of the relevant clinical experience of this operation type in China.Through the discussion of the consensus writing expert team,Private Plastic Surgery Branch of the Chinese Sexology Association expert consensus on vaginal reconstructive operation was formed.The consensus is aiming to provide help for clinicians in the indications of surgery,the choice of surgical methods and postoperative management when conducting VRO.
