The clinical manifestations of Peyronie's disease primarily include the presence of one or more nodules or cord-like hardenings on the dorsal or lateral sides of the penis,which can affect erectile function.This condition is an andrology disease characterized by the formation of fibrous plaques within the tunica albuginea.Clinical external treatment has shown significant efficacy and possesses distinct advantages.This paper provides a summary and overview of the clinical experiences and researches over the past 30 years,focusing on external treatments such as traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and washing,external application of traditional Chinese medicine,acupuncture,and iontophoresis,aiming to offer references for the treatment of Peyronie's disease.
