Relationship between serum B-cell lymphoma factor 6 and kisspeptin levels and disease progression in patients with endometriosis and their diagnostic value
Objective To investigate the relationship between serum B-cell lymphoma factor 6(BCL6),kisspeptin levels and disease progression in patients with endometriosis(EMT)and their diagnostic value. Methods A total of 110 EMT patients admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Science and Technology from May 2021 to May 2023 were selected as the observation group, and 98 healthy non-EMT women of childbearing age who underwent physical examination in the same hospital during the same period were selected as the control group.Serum levels of BCL6 and kisspeptin were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Serum BCL6 and kisspeptin levels in the observation group and the control group,EMT patients with different dysmenorrhea degrees and EMT patients with different American Fertility Society EMT staging criteria(r-AFS)stages were compared, and the diagnostic value of serum BCL6 and kisspeptin levels in EMT patients was analyzed by receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve. The influencing factors of EMT were analyzed by Logistic regression. Results The levels of serum BCL6 and kisspeptin in the observation group were both higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Compared with the mild pain group, the levels of serum BCL6 and kisspeptin in the moderate and severe pain groups were increased(P<0.05).Compared with the moderate pain group, the levels of serum BCL6 and kisspeptin in the severe pain group were increased(P<0.05).Compared with stage Ⅰ and Ⅱ groups, the levels of serum BCL6 and kisspeptin in stage Ⅲ and Ⅳ groups were increased(P<0.05).Compared with stage Ⅲ group, the levels of serum BCL6 and kisspeptin in stage Ⅳ group were increased(P<0.05).The diagnostic efficacy of serum BCL6 and combined kisspeptin was higher than that of single diagnosis.BCL6 and kisspeptin were independent risk factors for EMT(P<0.05).Conclusions The levels of serum BCL6 and kisspeptin in EMT patients are increased and related to disease progression, and the combined diagnosis value of these two is high.
