Analysis of Professor Li Yueqing's prescription for chronic prostatitis and network pharmacology study of core prescription
Objective To excavate the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)medication rule of Professor Li Yueqing in the treatment of chronic prostatitis(CP)based on ancient and modern medical records cloud platform,and to study the mechanism of core prescription in the treatment of CP by network pharmacology.Methods CP patients who were treated in the expert clinic of Li Yueqing in Dongzhimen Hospital,Beijing University of Chinese Medicine from June 2020 to December 2022 were screened,and the prescription drugs were obtained and recorded into ancient and modern medical records cloud platform,and the database was constructed.The prescription rules of Professor Li Yueqing in the treatment of CP were summarized by using the modules of frequency statistics,association rule analysis and complex network analysis.The effective components,targets and signal pathways of the core prescription were explored by the network pharmacology.Results After data screening,a total of 240 prescriptions were recorded,involving 350 TCMs,including 10 commonly used TCMs(frequency＞100)and 10 pairs of association rules(confidence coefficient ≥0.9).The core prescription was composed of"radix paeoniae alba,glycyrrhiza uralensis,ligusticum chuanxiong,poria cocos,angelica dahurica,cassia twig,radix astragali,rhizoma corydalis",which contained 142 active ingredients and 128 common targets.Serine-threonine protein kinase 1(AKT1),mitogen activated protein kinase 1(MAPK1),tumor necrosis factor(TNF)and interleukin-6(1L-6)were the key targets,and advanced glycation end product(AGE)-receptor for AGE(RAGE)was the key signal pathway.Conclusions Professor Li Yueqing is flexible in the treatment of CP,generally following the treatment principle of"invigorating the positive and dispelling evil,restoring the function of the body",using both warming method and clearing method together,and paying attention to promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis.The core prescription may treat chronic prostatitis through cancer pathway,AGE-RAGE,lipid and atherosclerosis and other related pathways.
