Meta-analysis on the treatment of idiopathic oligospermia and asthenospermia by tonifying kidney and promoting sperm method
Objective To study the therapeutic effect of tonifying kidney and promoting sperm method on idiopathic oligospermia and asthenospermia by Meta-analysis.Methods The clinical randomized controlled trials of treating idiopathic oligospermia and asthenospermia by tonifying kidney and promoting sperm method included in CNKI,VIP,Wanfang,China Biology Medicine,and PubMed from database establishment to October 2023 were searched.Methodological quality evaluation was used,statistical analysis was carried out by using RevMan 5.4 software,and bias analysis was performed.Results A total of 7 papers were included.The Meta-analysis results show that:the total effective rate of idiopathic oligozoospermia(RR=1.26,95％CI:1.10-1.43,P=0.000,6),sperm density(WMD=23.83,95％CI:21.87-25.78,P＜0.000,01),and spouse pregnancy rate(RR=1.89,95％CI:1.56-2.29,P＜0.000,01)in idiopathic oligospermia and asthenospermia patients treated by tonifying kidney and promoting sperm method were significantly better than control group.Conclusions The tonifying kidney and promoting sperm method has a good clinical therapeutic effect on idiopathic oligospermia and asthenospermia,it can significantly improve sperm density,motility and spouse pregnancy rate,and no obvious adverse reaction is reported,with high safety and efficacy.
