The marital quality is an important part of the quality of life and is closely related to the physical and mental health of the individual.The marital quality refers to the comprehensive situation of the sexual life quality,spare time life satisfaction,personality compatibility and so on of a married couple in a certain period of time.The existence of enterostomy has a huge impact on the mental state,social activities,and daily life of the patients and their spouse,and ultimately leads to a serious decline in the quality of marriage between the husband and wife.This paper reviews the definition of marital quality,evaluation tools,research status and the influencing factors of marital quality in colorectal cancer enterostomy patients and their spouses,in order to provide reference for the intervention of marital quality in colorectal cancer enterostomy patients and their spouses.
