Research Progress on the Physiological Function of Carvacrol and the Application in Poultry Production
Carvacrol is a biological active substance frequently found in many aromatic plants.It has physiological functions such as anti-inflammatory,antioxidant and enhancing intestinal health.It is widely used as a poultry feed additive to improve intestinal health of poultry and the quality of livestock products.In the context of global prohibition,it is very important to understand the functional characteristics of substitute products such as carvacrol for their application in production.In this study,the structure,physiological function and application of carvacrol in poultry production were reviewed,aiming to provide theoretical basis and technical support for the scientific and rational using of carvacrol in poultry production.
