Research Progress on Bacillus coagulans Regulating the Intestinal Health of Livestock and Poultry
Bacillus coagulans is a new type of feed probiotics.It not only has the probiotics of lactic acid bacteria and Bifidobacterium,but also has the resistance of Bacillus to high temperature,stomach acid and bile salt.In addition,it has the biological characteristics of being easy to cultivate and store.Many studies have shown that Bacillus coagulans can balance the structure of intestinal flora,improve intestinal morphology,promote digestion and absorption,and enhance intestinal immune function.In this paper,the regulation of Bacillus coagulans on animal intestinal health at home and abroad were reviewed,in order to provide a theoretical reference for the further application of Bacillus coagulans in green breeding and safe production of livestock and poultry.
