Research Progress on Reproductive Status and Nutritional Regulation of Low-Parity Sows
Due to reproductive inexperience and physiological limitations,low-parity sows often exhibit poor reproductive performance. The key factors affecting their reproductive performance mainly manifest in ovarian function, hormone levels, uterine capacity, and mammary gland development status. To improve these conditions, dietary nutrition regulation has been proven to be an effective means.By properly formulating the nutrients(protein, amino acids, energy, and amino acids)in the daily diet of sows, balanced and comprehensive nutritional support can be provided. Therefore, this paper systematically reviews the current situation of reproductive performance in low-parity sows, analyzes in depth the main factors affecting their reproductive performance, and explores the possibility of enhancing their reproductive potential through nutritional regulation strategies.
