Quality Control of Liquid Fermented Feed and Its Application in Pig Production
Liquid fermented feed is made by mixing complete feed or feed ingredients with water under suitable conditions through microbial fermentation.The liquid fermented feed is rich in beneficial microorganisms and organic acids,which can improve nutrient digestibility of feed and enhance health and performance of pigs.With the increasing cost in pig production,the application of liquid fermented feed is widely recognized as an effective technical solution to improve the economic efficiency.This article reviewed the key factors that influence the fermentation quality,the changes rule of nutrients and microorganism during the fermentation process,and their application in pigs production in order to provide the references for the improvement in the production and application of liquid fermented feed in China.
