Realistic Problems and Practical Paths of Strengthening Political Enlightenment Education for Children in the New Era
Political enlightenment education for children and young people is a vital component of socialist education with Chinese characteristics.Strengthening political enlightenment education for children and young people is a major task for cultivating socialist builders and successors,a prerequisite and necessary guarantee for the integrated construction of ideological and political courses in primary,secondary,and tertiary schools,and a primary link in enhancing the political literacy of children and young people.At present,there are still some problems in the political enlightenment education for children and young people,which are mainly manifested as insufficient implementation of relevant requirements,scarce curriculum resources,simple educational means and methods,and lack of team building for the teaching staff.Based on this,we should strengthen the basic research on political enlightenment education for children and young people,make scientific plans for the content system of political enlightenment education for children and young people,explore diverse forms of political enlightenment education,build a professional team of the Young Pioneers counselors,and thus creating a high-quality practical system of political enlightenment education for children and young people in the new era.
